Digital Practices April
My latest Digital Practices column is out in a-n magazine, it starts like this:
ISEA (Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts) holds an annual symposium and in the run-up to this year’s (to be held in Istanbul), pre-symposium events have been held. Digital Portraits of Transculturalism was a one-day event hosted by the Centre for Creative Collaboration, University of London on 25 February under the aegis of Goldsmiths College and Sabanci University, supported by FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), with partners University of Brighton, Arts Catalyst, SCAN and Leonardo Electronic Almanac. This impressive list of facilitators was augmented by expert speakers including Beryl Graham, Frieder Nake, Helen Sloan, Christiane Paul, and Nicola Triscott.
