Book Handbags
Look at these cute book handbags on Etsy! Once I get over the fact they’ve been damaged, I think I’ll rather enjoy the idea of a book having a new life as a handbag.
In fact I’m trying to think of books that would make great bags, certainly my PhD thesis would make a rather sturdy holdall! But I can’t decide if you should use ones that are actually terrible, so that their new hollowness isn’t far from their original state, or whether you should have a book bag of a book you’ll never actually read, just so people see you out and about with it. I guess its that age old question of style over substance or substance over style? And that’s a balance I’ll never get right!
