I Love Sarah J Coleman: here’s why…

I was knocked out by a hideous dose of chicken pox before I got to properly show off about my new website logo (see above). I’m so thrilled I can’t express it in a blog post (imagine running around a lot and some embarrassing dancing and you’ll get the gist) that the wonderful and very, very talented Sarah Jane Coleman aka inkymole designed this for me.

If you’ve got an eye for these things, you’ll recognise her handiwork straight away because she’s everywhere – from a Crabtree and Evelyn window to a 50th anniversary edition of To Kill a Mocking Bird – and always very much in demand. As Sarah knows, if I could, I’d have her write and paint all over my flat, my car and to be honest, if she wanted to give me a few tattoos I’d be well up for it. For now, however, I’m more than happy with my logo – which I’ve also had made into a stamp (and already stamped all over the place!).

She’s one of those artists who just drips aesthetic delights from her very finger tips – I bet even her shopping lists are works of art – and I’m honoured she splashed a some inky excellence my way!
